A new challenge to 2024 is The 52 Book Club’s 52 Books in 52 Weeks Challenge
I found this one toward the end of last year and slotted books I’d already read into their prompts. I was able to get all but one or two done that way!
This year I wanted to start the year off with it and I’m glad I did. While a lot of the prompts do cross over from challenge to challenge, this one has its own gems.
I still need a few books to complete this year
- 13 – An Academic Thriller – looking forward to October for Nocticadia. I think reading this dark academia gothic thriller during spooky season will be perfect.
- 34 – Set in a Landlocked country – nothing has jumped out at me for this prompt so far
- 42 – Author Debut in the second half of 2024 – since we are officially in the second half of 2024, I need to get busy on this one!
My favorites for the year so far include:

- 9 – A character driving novel – The Bear and the Nightingale
- 35 – Title matches lyrics from a song – How You Get the Girl
