The Book Riot’s Read Hard Challenge is the shortest, but the hardest challenge. It is only my second year, but it really makes me work for it! I like that it really pushes me out of my comfort zone/preferred genres/authors.
My favorites from the Read Harder Challenge are:
- 6 – finish a book you’ve DNF’ed – The Priory of the Orange Tree (I’m just proud I made it through!)
- 9 – read an independently published book by a BIPOC author – That Time I got Drunk and Saved a Demon
- 13 – read an author local to you – The Four Leaf
- 16 – read a book with bisexual representation – Heated Rivalry
